L’pizza tree is a delicious and scenographic recipe, perfect to serve on the occasion of a buffet, a aperitif or how appetizers lunch on December 25. They are soft and tasty pizzas, lined up on a baking sheet to form a Christmas tree; once seasoned with tomato, mozzarella and oregano sauce, they are baked and served hot and irresistible: success will be more than guaranteed.
Designed for the holiday menu, the pizza tree is very easy and quick to prepare, thanks to a instant baking dough. An original idea to bring to the table a snack that will appeal to young and old, which can be custom with what you prefer or have available at home: you can add cold cuts, other cheeses, vegetables, potatoes, olives, anchovies in oil, aromatic herbs.
You can also prepare it in advance and cover it with a sheet of cling film, once it is cold. When ready to serve, put it back in the oven for a few minutes and it will become fragrant again as it was just prepared. How to prepare the pizza tree

For the dough: in a large bowl mix the flour, baking powder and salt, then gradually add the water (1).

Start mixing (2) and pour in a little water at a time until you get a smooth but workable mixture.

Also add olive oil (3) and knead again.

Transfer the dough to a floured work surface (4).

Work again to obtain a supple and homogeneous dough (5); wrap it in cling film and let it sit in the refrigerator for about half an hour.
