To prepare the bread, blackberry, apple and almond cake, start cutting the slices of bread into cubes of about 1 cm and collect them in a large bowl. Add the milk, granulated sugar and grated lemon zest. Stir with a spoon to mix.


Also add the eggs beaten separately, the melted butter at room temperature and the apples cut into cubes of the same size as the bread.


Mix and transfer the mixture into a square mold, 23 cm long, greased and lined with parchment paper. Level with the back of a spoon and distribute the blackberries and blueberries, making them sink into the dough. Sprinkle with the sliced almonds and granulated sugar.


Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 45-50 minutes. Remove the blackberry, apple and almond cake from the oven and let it cool before cutting it into cubes and serving.
