A great classic, coffee ice cream is one of those flavors that meets the favor of all diners. If prepared by hand at home following our recipe it becomes an irresistible dessert.

- 15 g instant coffee
- 250 g whole milk
- 125 g cream
- 125 g short coffee
- 160 g sugar
- 4 yolks
We served coffee ice cream in breakfast cups with chocolate-rich cookies, although we offer it as a dessert, for example, at the end of a summer dinner with friends. For those who love it, preparing homemade ice cream at home is a real satisfaction.
Ours is one basic recipe, simple, with few ingredients including, of course, coffee, partly soluble and partly restricted. There are versions of coffee ice cream with added spices, such as cinnamon or the cardamom, infused at the beginning of the procedure, together with the coffee.
To make this recipe, a home ice cream maker with compressor is required. You can serve it in cups, bowls or glasses, put them in the freezer 1 hour before to make them cool well and will allow you to enjoy your ice cream more slowly! With these ingredients they are obtained 700 g of ice cream.

How to prepare: Coffee ice cream


To prepare the coffee ice cream, start by heating the milk with the instant coffee. In a bowl, mix the eggs with the sugar very well, until the mixture is soft and fluffy.


Add the hot milk to the sugar while continuing to mix, at this point return to the heat until the cream veils the back of the spoon. Mix the coffee with the cream and add the cream slowly while continuing to mix.


Allow the mixture to cool completely before pouring it into the ice cream maker.

Leave to stir for the necessary time, then serve your coffee ice cream in cups or bowls previously cooled in the freezer.
