What we propose in this recipe is easy to prepare and brings together three ingredients that go perfectly together: apples, cinnamon And Lemon peel.

How to prepare: Hot milk apple and nut cake


To prepare the hot milk apple and walnut cake, in a bowl, with an electric mixer, whip the eggs together with the sugar, when you have obtained a frothy mixture, add the lemon zest, cinnamon, flour and sifted yeast.


Heat the milk and melt the butter in it (do not bring the milk to a boil). Add it, flush, to the mixture and mix with a whisk. The result should be smooth and without lumps.
Peel the apple and cut it into thin slices, add half of it to the mixture and pour everything into a 20 cm mold, greased and floured. Sprinkle the surface with the remaining apples and coarsely chopped walnuts.

Bake in a preheated oven at 170 °, in ventilated mode, for 45-50 minutes, possibly covering the surface of the cake with aluminum foil, if it tends to brown too much. Serve the apple and nut pie with milk, warm or cold.
