Peel and finely cut the leek and brown it briefly in a little oil in a large saucepan. Add the potatoes into rounds and mix to keep them from sticking to the bottom. After a few moments, add the cabbage and mix again. At this point pour the water into the saucepan and flavor with the sage leaves, salt, pepper and cover with the lid.
