Start preparing the comet star with boiled egg salmon. Place the three eggs, kept at room temperature, in a small saucepan, cover them with water and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Drain them, pass them under cold water, shell them, chop them and keep them aside in a cool place.

Grease the slices of bread with a layer of softened butter and with a star-shaped pastry cutter made from each two or more stars (depending on the size of the slices and molds).

With the same molds cut out the stars also from the slices of salmon and place them on those of bread making them match perfectly.
