The fried mackerel recipe is very simple, especially if you start with 4 ready-made fish fillets. Check that there are no pins left (if necessary, remove them with tweezers) and bread them in semolina flour one at a time, making sure that they are evenly covered on both sides.


Dip the breaded fillets, two at a time, in a deep pan with hot oil: fry until golden. Drain them with a slotted spoon on absorbent paper or fried paper, so as to eliminate excess oil. Prepare the accompanying sauce: put a spoonful of mustard in a small bowl and emulsify with a little oil. Fried mackerel is ready to serve.
