How to prepare: Friggitelli in a pan
Preparing friggitelli in a pan is very simple. Wash the peppers thoroughly under running water, leaving them whole and with the stalk intact and dry them with a sheet of kitchen paper. In a rather large pan, heat oil and brown the garlic in the shirt for 3-4 minutes over medium heat, add the anchovies and let them melt.
Add the friggitelli and sauté them briefly over high heat. Cover with a lid, lower the heat and let the friggitelli cook until tender and wilted, it will take about 15 minutes. If you like, you can add a few fresh basil leaves at the end of cooking.
Transfer the friggitelli to the pan on a serving dish and serve hot or at room temperature.
