How to prepare: Green bean, feta and walnut salad

Making a green bean, feta and walnut salad is quick and easy. First, peel the green beans, trim them and boil them for 10 minutes, then let them cool in ice water: in this way they will remain crunchy and of a nice green color. Drain them perfectly and arrange them on a serving dish. Add the thinly sliced onion.

Add the crumbled feta cheese and season with oil, salt and freshly ground pepper. Toast the walnuts in a pan and spread them over the salad.

Complete with croutons or focaccia (even leftover), toasted in a pan with a little oil, a few basil leaves or other aromatic herbs to taste and immediately serve a salad of green beans, feta and walnuts.
