How to prepare: Macaroni with mackerel and cherry tomatoes


Start preparing the macaroni with mackerel and cherry tomatoes by combining 2 or 3 tablespoons of oil, the clove of unpeeled garlic and the sliced chilli pepper in a large pan. Fry briefly and add the halved tomatoes first and then the desalted capers. Meanwhile, boil the pasta water.


Stir and add the mackerel fillets that you have cut into cubes. Cook for about 10 minutes, adding chopped parsley and rosemary towards the end. Season with salt. Meanwhile, the pasta will also cook.


Once ready, drain the pasta al dente and let it flavor with the sauce just made for a few minutes. If needed, add a little cooking water. Distributed in serving dishes: macaroni with mackerel and cherry tomatoes can be served on the table.
