The melon granita it’s a dessert fresh and creamy, quick to prepare: it’s done in no time and you can serve it as after eating or like a whimsical nibble summer. In our preparation, we did it only with cantaloupe melon And sugar, without ice cream maker: a very easy recipe, also ideal for beginners.
To prepare it, simply mix the melon with the sugar and put it in the freezer to harden. When ready, serve it as is or with a few Mint leaf or with whipped cream, to make it more greedy. For a more dramatic presentation, serve your own granita in the skin of the melon completely emptied and placed in the freezer for an hour.
You can replace the cantaloupe with white melon, with a sweet and juicy pulp.

How to prepare a homemade melon granita
Divide the melon into 2 parts, cut it into slices and remove the seeds and skin (1). Cut the melon into pieces and put it in the blender with the sugar (2): mix until a fine juice is obtained. Cover the springform pan with cling film and pour in the melon mixture (3).
Let stand in the freezer for 4 to 5 hours. After the necessary time, take the granita out of the freezer and crush it with a wooden spoon (4), then put it in the bowls (5). Your melon granita is ready to be tasted (6).
You can keep the melon granita in the freezer for one day, well covered.
