How to make mini hot dogs
Beat the egg yolks with the milk (1). Add the sifted flour and salt (2) and mix. Also add olive oil and continue to mix (3) until the mixture is smooth.
Beat the egg whites until stiff with an electric whisk (4) and add them to the mixture using up and down movements (5). Pour small portions of dough into an oiled pan (6) and place the mini sausages on top.
Fold the circles of dough over the sides of the sausage, using two spatulas (7), and cook 4 to 5 minutes over low heat with the lid closed. Once ready (8), gently lift them with kitchen tongs and stuff them with ketchup and mayonnaise. Your mini hot dogs are ready to be served (9).
Cook the mini hot dogs a slow fire and no more than a few minutes. It is also important to cover them with the lid to speed up cooking and prevent the bottom from burning.
