The first is to use a non-stick pan: place 2-3 tablespoons of corn kernels in the pan, without adding fat, and place over medium heat. Cover with a lid, possibly glass, in order to better control the cooking. As soon as they start to pop, lift the lid slightly on one side. When most of the beans have burst, move the pan so that the beans left at the bottom also open. Serve immediately with salt to taste.

The second method is microwave cooking: collect 2-3 tablespoons of corn in a clean paper bag, the kind commonly used for vegetables. Close the upper part with a double fold, leaving room in the lower part for the development of the beans, and place inside the oven. Bake at 750w for about 2 minutes, checking doneness from that point on.

Finally, the third method involves the use of a pan: place 1 tablespoon of olive oil (alternatively corn or coconut) in the pan and heat it up. To check if it has reached the right temperature, do a test with 3 kernels of corn, covering with the lid, if they burst correctly you can add the remaining 2-3 spoons, cover again with the lid and cook in stirring the pot often, until they are all exploded. Serve the popcorn salty or sweet to taste.
