The ranch sauce is a famous condimentor a lot famous in the USA, but now also famous in the rest of the world, which is often used for enrich salads. It’s a very simple dressing made with few ingredients – mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk and aromatic herbs – and can be used to season different types of dishes, thanks to its versatility: as well as with salads, it is excellent with grilled vegetables, with the raw meats and with me fish with a delicate flavor. Fresh and delicious, it takes a few minutes to prepare and can really enhance any dish: you can also try it in a sandwich, served with lettuce and leftover roast slices. Here’s how to make a ranch sauce quickly and easily.
How to make a ranch sauce

In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream and buttermilk (1).

Chop the dill, parsley, chives, onion, garlic (2).

Add the ingredients to the sauce and season with salt and pepper. Pour in the lemon juice and mix to combine everything well. Let the sauce rest for 10 minutes in the refrigerator then serve.
Advice
if you prefer, you can use theWhite vinegar instead of lemon juice, or lime juice. You can then replace the mayonnaise with a Mayonnaise vegan, or with the Greek yogurt, for a lighter preparation.
If you don’t have buttermilk available, you can do it at home; the same goes for sour cream.
storage
You can store your ranch sauce in the refrigerator until it’s ready to use; in any case, consume it within 3-4 days.
