To prepare them at home, you will need to cook the rice, mix it while still hot and spread the mixture on a baking sheet before baking it in the oven. Once the dough is obtained, all you have to do is divide it into pieces and brown the crisps in hot oil, until golden brown.
To make your rice chips even more delicious and flavorful, you can also add Rosemary, paprika, Turmeric, curry, saffron or your favorite spices: add them to the cooked rice before mixing it. You can also serve the rice chips with a delicious sweet gorgonzola mousse, guacamole sauce or your favorite sauces.
How to make homemade rice crisps
Cook the rice in boiling, lightly salted water (1) for the time indicated on the package: about 16 minutes. Once ready, drain it and mix it with a hand blender (2) when it is still hot, until a thick cream is obtained. Pour the rice cream on a baking sheet covered with baking paper (3) and spread it with a spatula until a fine veil is obtained.
Dry at room temperature or to accelerate, bake at 100 ° C for one hour (4). Break the rice paper you have obtained and brown in hot oil at 160 ° C (5). Serve with salt and your favorite spices (6).
