How to prepare: Ricotta cake


Preparing the ricotta cake is very simple. In a bowl, beat the ricotta with the sugar until the mixture is homogeneous and smooth. Then add the eggs with the grated rind of the lemon and mix.


Then add the sifted powders: flour, corn starch and baking powder. Mix with a spatula and finally add the melted butter at room temperature.


When you have obtained a smooth and homogeneous mixture, transfer it into a greased and floured 22 cm diameter mold. Level and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° for about 45-50 minutes, checking the cooking with a toothpick that must come out dry. Remove from the oven, allow to cool completely.


Serve your ricotta cake with powdered sugar to taste.
