We can say that this simple savory pie is the Italian and, in fact, simplified version of the famous Quiche Lorraine.

How to prepare: Simple savory pie
To make the simple savory pie it takes very few steps. First, unroll the shortcrust pastry and place it in a 26 cm diameter pan using the paper in which it is rolled to cover the mold. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the cream, parmesan and a pinch of salt.
Add the mozzarella, previously diced and left to drain in a colander, and the diced ham and mix. Spread the filling into the shortcrust pastry shell.
Add a little pepper, fold the dough that comes out of the pan inwards, flatten it along the edge. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 190 ° C for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven the simple savory pie and serve it after a few minutes of rest.
