How to prepare: Tomatoes in a pan
Preparing the tomatoes in a pan is very simple. Start by cutting the coppery tomatoes in half. In a saucepan, together with two tablespoons of oil and a clove of garlic, arrange the tomatoes with the sliced side facing down.
Cook them until they are softened and well toasted; at that point, turn them over and cook them in the other direction. Sprinkle them with plenty of oregano. If necessary, add two tablespoons of hot water, add salt and continue cooking by covering them.
Stir-fried tomatoes are ready when fully cooked and soft. Serve them with toasted bread.
