Melt the butter in the steel pan, add the brown sugar and let caramelize over low heat, without stirring. Peel the bananas and cut them in half lengthwise. Put them in a saucepan (1) and let them flavor for a few minutes, turning them from time to time. Pour in the liqueur, tilt the pan slightly and let flambé (2) very gently, until the flame goes out on its own. Your flambéed bananas are ready to be served and tasted at your leisure (3).
