How to prepare fig and pancetta scones

Divide the pizza dough into 8 pieces of about 90 g, form balls (1) and let them rest for 30-40 minutes.

After this time, spread the balls in a baking dish, applying light pressure with your fingertips, and brush them with a mixture of water and oil (2).

Season the scones with a pinch of salt, pepper and rosemary (3). Bake them in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 20 minutes.

Take the scones out of the oven, decorate with the fig slices and bacon (4), then cook for another 10 minutes.

Advice
For other scones sweeter and tastier you can prepare a mixture of water and milk by dividing the liquid part.
The fig is an exceptional product but very seasonal: if you do not find it fresh, you can use jam or these buckets; in these cases, also add a seasoned cheese of your choice such as pecorino.
Bacon is perfect for this recipe but can be substituted with Ham, the lard, here grain or the smoked cooked ham. If you prefer, you can also use soft cheeses such as gorgonzola, the chartreuse and that stracchino and for garnish, balsamic vinegar and abundant rosemary glaze.
