To prepare this first course of gnocchi with cabbage and hazelnuts, start with the dressing: peel the cabbage and cut it into strips. In a non-stick pan heat oil with a clove of garlic, after a few minutes add the cabbage and cook for about 15 minutes over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper.


Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi in plenty of salted water. Once ready, drain and pour into the pan with the cabbage. Add two tablespoons of cream and mix. Serve the gnocchi while still hot and garnish with toasted hazelnuts, a sprinkle of black pepper and fresh marjoram.
