How to prepare: Rustici with sausages

To prepare the sausage rustici, unroll the first roll of puff pastry, with its parchment paper, on the work surface so that the short sides of the dough are on your right and left. Spread a little mustard on top in a thin layer, without excess or it will come out during cooking. Cut in half vertically with a sharp knife. Place a sausage on the first half and roll it completely in the dough. Proceed in this way also with the remaining half of the pastry. You will get two cylinders of sausage and pasta. Repeat with the puff pastry and the remaining sausages.

Cut each roll into slices about 3 cm wide and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with lightly beaten egg and sprinkle with mixed seeds to taste.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° for 15-20 minutes or in any case until lightly browned. Remove the frankfurters from the oven, let them cool, then serve them.
