In our recipe, we made the base with puff pastry, added to the surface tomatoes stuffed with mozzarella and enriched with a filling of eggs, béchamel, bacon and cheese. The savory pie will then be oven-baked: excellent in taste either hot to be cold every season. Here’s how to prepare this tasty and colorful dish in a few simple steps.
How to make a savory tomato pie
Prepare the béchamel and set it aside. Wash the tomatoes, remove the cap and empty them (1). Place the puff pastry in the mold and remove the excess dough (2). Place the emptied tomatoes on the puff pastry base and stuff them with mozzarella balls (3).
