How to prepare: Zebra cake
Start preparing the zebra cake by whipping the butter with the sugar, salt and vanilla seeds into a foam, using an electric mixer or in a planetary mixer. When the mixture is swollen and well whipped, add one egg at a time, continuing to work at low speed, making sure that each one is well blended before adding the next. Sift the flour with the baking powder.
Add the flour to the egg and butter mixture and mix well without working the dough too long. Put the cocoa in a small bowl and dilute it with the milk to obtain a thick cream. Now divide the dough in two, transferring half of it to a new bowl
Add the cocoa cream to half of the dough, mixing well to make everything homogeneous. Line a 20 cm diameter springform pan with parchment paper and place a spoonful of cocoa mixture more or less in the center. Now pour a spoonful of vanilla mixture into the center of this. Follow with a spoonful of cocoa mixture and again with a vanilla one.
Continue like this, alternating spoonfuls of light and dark dough until the end, always taking care to pour the dough into the center of the previous one and then towards the center of the pan.
