the zucchini snacks they are gods rustic delicious and irresistible, perfect for a aperitif, a small party, a standing buffet or a nibble. They are made with ready-made puff pastry, in just 10 minutes and with a few simple ingredients: stuffed with zucchini and cooked ham, then covered on the surface with grated Parmesan, they are crispy on the outside and very sweet at heart. You can prepare them in version food to eat with your fingers, as suggested in our recipe, or leave the pie whole and serve it simply in slices. How to make zucchini snacks

Wash the zucchini then garnish them. Using a potato peeler, cut into fairly thin slices (1).

Roll out a roll of puff pastry and transfer it to a 24 cm diameter mold, lined with a sheet of baking paper (2).

Arrange the zucchini inside then sprinkle with grated cheese (3). Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Spread over the cooked ham (4).

Cover with the second disk of puff pastry and seal the edges well; sprinkle the surface with more grated cheese then bake at 200 ° C for 20-25 minutes (5).

When the surface is well browned, take the salted pie out of the oven and cut out numerous disks using a cookie cutter. Transfer them to a serving dish and serve hot (6).
Advice
To obtain small squares or rectangles, just use two rolls of rectangular puff pastry; to obtain disks, as well as those proposed in our recipe, use baking circles with a diameter of about 4 cm.
You can replace the cooked ham with raw ham, speck or a other salami as you like; Parmesan with parmesan or pecorino, while zucchini with other seasonal vegetables, such as i peppers or the aubergine.
For a vegetarian version, you can replace the cooked ham with zucchini flowers, walnut kernels and crushed sundried tomatoes.

Store zucchini snacks in the refrigerator, in a special airtight container, for up to 24 hours. You can freeze the whole or pre-cut quiche, before and after cooking.
